Kuxbit Launches $500K Blockchain Education Fund for Southeast Asian Universities

This week, Kuxbit announced a dedicated $500,000 community and education initiative aimed at accelerating blockchain literacy in Southeast Asia. The fund will support curriculum development, hardware labs, and student scholarships at five partner universities in the Philippines, marking one of the largest direct education commitments by a crypto exchange in the region.

Partnership with Academic Institutions

Kuxbit is collaborating with the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, the University of Santo Tomas, and the University of San Carlos. The program will include:

• Development of three new blockchain-focused undergraduate courses
• Annual scholarships for 50 students pursuing blockchain-related research
• Hardware grants for setting up decentralized ledger lab environments
• Guest lecture series featuring industry professionals

"We believe that sustainable adoption starts with education," said a Kuxbit spokesperson. "This fund is our commitment to empowering the next generation of developers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers with practical blockchain skills."

Part of Broader Community Efforts

The education fund is part of Kuxbit's larger Community Catalyst Program, which has already distributed over $2 million in grants for local meetups, hackathons, and open-source development projects across Asia since its launch last year.
