Pealysoft Launches $50K Blockchain Education Fund for Underserved Youth in Kenya
Pealysoft unveils the 'Pealysoft Future Scholars' initiative, funding blockchain and AI education for 200 students in Nairobi.

This week, Pealysoft announced the launch of the 'Pealysoft Future Scholars' program, a $50,000 charity initiative aimed at providing blockchain and artificial intelligence education to underserved youth in Kenya. The exchange has partnered with the local nonprofit TechBridge Africa to develop a three-month intensive curriculum covering decentralized finance, smart contract development, and ethical AI principles.
Empowering the Next Generation
The initiative will fund 200 full scholarships for students aged 16 to 22 from low-income communities in Nairobi and surrounding counties. Recipients will receive not only tuition-free instruction but also a stipend for internet access and a refurbished laptop. Program Structure and Impact
The curriculum is structured as follows:
- Weeks 1-4: Foundations of blockchain technology, cryptography, and distributed ledger concepts.
- Weeks 5-8: Hands-on smart contract development using Solidity, with a focus on real-world DeFi applications.
- Weeks 9-12: Capstone project where students build a decentralized application for local community needs, such as transparent charitable donations or digital identity for voting.
Pealysoft has also committed to covering the costs of certification exams and will offer five internships to top-performing scholars at the exchange's operations hub in Kenya. The first cohort begins next month, with applications closing at the end of this quarter.
